The words that got my attention are "who goes to Copperdale too". It might mean that it's optional to have your sim attend that school, but I'll wait further confirmation from the livestream.

From there, I can make out the following:
- Trendi is like Plopsy, but for outfits. It shows the style, who put it up, and the cost. You can get your sims new outfits and sell them. The inventory rotates.
- Trends: a way to see which outfit style is in trend and which is not.
- The outfits your sim is wearing can be gifted, added to favorites, named, and sold on Trendi. Seeing "Add to Favorite" on the list, I take that it's done in the inventory.
- Other sims can buy your outfit and wear them. Kind of reminds me of Style Influencer's abilities to set trends which will be worn by NPC sims and a celebrity perk "Trendsetter" which occasionally has NPC sims wear the same outfit the celebrity is wearing. Another countermeasure to horrible game-generated fashion choices eh?
