EDIT: Thinking about it, it would be a straight copy of Day of the Dead. The two names are interchangeable in some countries IRL.
Your description of all souls day sounds like it is very similar to 1st November which I mentioned in my list in one of the previous posts. Here the first day after halloween, nov 1st, is all saints day and nov 2nd is all souls day. But I have never heard anyone call these days day of the dead. Traditionally there are no skeleton suits and that kind of things. Those would only be seen at halloween.
What traditions do you use for all souls day? I have mourn at a grave, light candles and attend a service.
