It's good. Not great because it's missing a lot of touches that made something like TS2 great for its time, but it's gotten better over the years. And I can honestly play it for hours now without getting bored, just as much as with the previous games, so I'd say it's a keeper.
Honestly, it should never have been released the way it was back in 2014, but I'm glad they at least took the time to patch in basic features like ghosts, pools, dishwashers, and toddlers. Companies need to realize that bad PR is just going to hurt sales in the long run, so they might as well avoid shortchanging their fanbases.
