Hospital Track: Why are all my colleagues lazy pieces of ----!?

It's the exact same for me! I feel like I'm doing all the work!

bad AI, it's not only specific to the active careers but the sims overall in my opinion.
Like, you take the time to place a sink in the kitchen and they go wash the dishes upstairs...

Oh! My Sim is currently an R.N. I must be the only one that actually enjoys the fact that my Sims Colleagues aren't super on the case of everything.

The Doctor Co-Worker is constantly running analysis'
And The Orderly cleans up the lot and fixes the machines when they break down.

---so they do kind of get stuff done.

The nurse spends most of her time chatting to patients...but atleast it looks like she is doing something. So I don't complain ;)


I'll get frustrated by a pile of rubbish and go to pick it up and chuck it out...only to discover that the Orderly beats me there.

I will admit though, that I think that the assistant is more for show than anything else.

Colleagues don't admit patients to beds...which to be honest I am so GREATFUL FOR!!!!!!! I ran into a lack of beds once and was mortified when my sim kicked a patient out of bed to admit her dad. Yeah.... no conflict of interest there or anything like that *cough* *cough*

My one gripe...completely unrelated to colleagues is the diagnosis! It is sooooo hard!!!! I run tests multiple times and I rarely managed to get the diagnois before the end of the work day...and even then my sim will waste over half of the day on one sim only to run out of any and every other option besides xrays and the treadmill

...and by that point I take a gamble and go for a higher work performance, ditch the patient and complete a few of the work goals.

@cherpar yeah, I'm thinking that EA/Maxis are wanting us to learn the differences between the prompts that we get after each test (if it was successful) and watch the patients reactions when we check out their eyes etc... because I have noticed differences.

I haven't figured out the pattern yet though and I've had one bad diagnosis when I was down to 2 choices for alliment and gambled. My sim doctor knocked their patient out. Opps!

Create some Sims (you won't really have to play them) put them in house get them in the doctor career. Give them the neat trait etc. When your Sim you like goes to work they may be the orderly on particular days (depending on their schedule and day of week) because they hate a mess they will clean it up and go make the beds. Just one way to out do the game. >:)

It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have the mini quest dictating your every move. The doctor could be so much more fun if co -workers attempted to clean up their own messes. I am sick of cleaning up so my SIM isn't debuff the whole shift. My sim doesn't get credit for cleaning up messes and maybe they should.. The other nurse interrupts constantly when I am trying to examine a patient.. this means time loss and I can't click cancel on her chatty Cathy picture. The time they give you is limited and precious if you want to get promoted. Receptionist are suppose to check in patients period. If no bed is available the patients wait but have the option to sit or stand.

These are my complaints about the doctor career.

I want them to sit down and for an icon to be over them which one may be more serious like in the Themed Hospital Game EA owns. Just borrow it EA, since you borrowed Bloatyhead illness. :#

Its 2017, fix this. Still an issue.

Now the bug where they don't put Sims in the exam beds. The patient just stands there while your Sim just stands beside the bed empty or occupied. It's getting more bugs with each new pack and patch.
