How Are Maxis Curated Items Selected Now?

Hi all 💜
For years now, I've been an avid supporter of the Maxis Fav Nomination process. I would regularly visit the forum nomination threads to recommend the talented creativity I would see week after week in the gallery. I enjoyed putting things forward for the curation reviewers and was honored when some of my nominations got selected. It seems, in these past several months approximately, that the promoted ways to share nominations are possibly not getting considered. At least, I haven't found any rhyme or reason as to how items are getting curated lately. I and others have tried on Twitter X, on the official Sims Discord server and I did even find the migrated forum threads so I've recently tried there too. Will you please explain the future of Maxis Curated Content and how to officially nominate the creations of others? I also recommend starting new threads for households, rooms and lots. It's a fresh, new forums so let's freshen up the Maxis Curation Process please. Thanks for reading and considering! 💜

    That does seem a bit strange. Some transparency is in order. As is a response to this discussion from Maxis.

    I was kind of wondering about this as well lately, especially when I came across this one (pic attached) Unchanged premade Strangerville townies are worth a Maxis fav? Well... goodbye to creativity I guess. Can someone please explain what is going on there?

    I appreciate your supportive feedback AmaraRena and nengster65 💯 These images you provide nengster65 really exemplify the purpose of this thread. In the old forums, we used to have clear directions and curation guidelines, easy places to make our community nominations and some occasional feedback in the form of moderation by forum representatives. All of this gave a higher level of transparency which in turn gave more validity to the Maxis Curation process. I've supported the Maxis Fav process within the gallery for years as I felt it was a wonderful part of the Positive Play experience within The Sims Community. Until recently, I saw it as a great honor to any creator receiving this special recognition. What I see now is frustratingly disappointing and is systematically devaluing the Maxis Curation process in my opinion. I'm happy to provide feedback, recommendations, or assistance to Maxis on this issue in any way. What I'd really like to see is a response to this thread at least from an EA/Maxis forum representative.
