How can I tell the different pitches of the voice samples in Sims 4?

I wanted to give one of my female sims a high pitched voice, and well, I couldn't figure it out. All the female samples sounded so similar. I don't understand the symbols either: piece of candy, music...

Yes it does. But I don't know why I couldn't hear the pitch change between the female voices. Maybe I need to try it again.
