How did playable ghosts update affect your playing style?

In the past, if you didn't want your Sims to die by accident (which in a single sim household would mean game over), you'd have to take extra precautions, but now it's business as usual with the only difference of them being ghosts.

Well, I intend to actually play with ghosts now. My first ghost that I seriously started using the perks after the update was an accident in a temp save for the Christmas bonus. I discovered that I was enjoying playing her. Any monster mash saves I start will now include ghosts.

I couldn't stand them before. Now I look forward to playing them. They will be invited back into the household. They are now up there with Vampires and Werewolves. Looking forward to ghost Vamps and Weres. Death will no longer pose an obstacle! ๐Ÿ˜„

  • The ghost are wonderful in this game but not my favorite occult. I'm glad that the the ghost occult has been upgraded but I still would like to see other occults in this game like Zombies....They go so good with death and ghost. Not all ghost believe or know they are dead.

Ghost are pretty cool when they have Zombies by their side fighting for the supernatural realm that we have yet to discover deeply in this game. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I almost never let my sims die so no effect until now. I will use the option to immediately become a playable ghost if it is an accidental death or if they have valuable items in their inventory

It hasn't really affected that much, at least not yet. I do have a couple of sims I plan to continue to play with when they die and become a ghost because now ghosts are more intereting, but I did have some ghost sims I played with before the update, and I think most of my sims are still going to just die and pass away like before.

No.  I've always made my version of unplayed townie Ghosts before L&D Pack came out.  However, I do give them the useful powers that they can have now.  I did make my version of a Casper household, but got bored of it when the Christmas Season was about to approach.  That being said, I do like the Phenix trait.  Way cool.

I havenโ€™t really played ghosts, other than having sims talk to them once in awhile on ghost night at the bar.  But I am glad they gave us the options with ghosts that they did in L&D.  I might decide to play one at some time, I love that you can bequeath things to sims,, and that children can be sent to certain families upon a death.  I plan to make an orphanage now.
