My brother gave me a copy of the first Sims game. This was back in 2002-ish, back when I was teaching life skills in special education. I thought that the game could be used to do exactly that: teach life skills. Unfortunately, the student I was trying to use this method with didn't like it. But i was hooked on the game (and I DON'T play video games) I ended up getting all of the Sims 1 disks, then got into it so much I ended up spending some time with another girl from the UK creating CC for the game. By then, the Sims 2 was getting big and we decided to stop creating content and upgrade to the new version and see if we wanted to create for the new game. But life has a way of saying no, so I just enjoyed my game. I played it until a couple years ago, when EA made the base game free. I decided to give it a try and now have a LARGE portion of the add ons to the latest version of the game. I admit, every time I say I am done with the game, I can't leave it! I may take a break from time to time, but I hear my Simmies calling, telling me to get laptop out and get back to the game! SO I am addicted...🤣
