How do I download the new expac?

After purchase (or pre-order) when starting Origin the sims 4 window should say 'new expansion ready to install' clicking on the download arrow opens a new screen also with a download arrow, it did not work for me no matter how many times I tried, look lower on the right side for "More Content" select this, then expansion packs, scroll to Cottage Living, should say ready to install, click, should start downloading.
