I put my tots in timeout when they are being angry and trying to smash dollhouses. What i do is make a tiny room in the house with only a highchair. I have a parent put the tot in the highchair after giving them a talking to, because thats not enough. Then i have the parent leave and lock the door for everyone but one parent. And distract the parent by making them learn bartending tricks. Because they ignore everything when doing that. So my tot is whining and asking to get out. But the parent ignores it. And the tot cries about being stuck inside and babbles to itself until i allow the parent to let them out. The anger goes away and is replaced by sadness when stuck in a tiny room. Lesson learned in my case. If you wanna just be mean. U can also lock the tot outside in a rainstorm and make it use the bathroom all over itself until it's miserably sad and constantly crying to be let back inside. Changes those lil sim attitudes pretty fast. Lol. And in real life a toddler does understand what a timeout is. Just has to be said. I mean, Duh. Hope this helps your gameplay.
