How do I replace randomized townies with ones that I create?

Recently I made a new save file that I play RELIGIOUSLY, but one thing bothers me and thats the hideous randomized townies. Their clothing is terrible, especially the hot and cold weather outfits, and...

This is what I do. Rather than spending a lot of time in CAS creating my own "townies" before I play, I simply edit the ones I come across in-game.
