How do I throw a cure at a vampire?

How did you even get it in your inv I've made the cure but I can only drink it myself or Put it in a frig.... and trying to go from frig to Inv dosnt work either

I was messing around trying to cure a vampire and I found that it doesn't matter if the cure is spoiled, you can still throw it in their face, but I only got the prompt after I attempted to slay the aforementioned vampire. The dislike meter for that vampire was halfway at the time of curing.
