How do you feel about the household size limit?
I know the limit has been the same since the beginning of the sims series, but do you ever wish you could alter it whether it be to increase it or decrease it?

- I hate the 8 person/pet limit so much. I play big families, 5-8, and with my sims it's nearly impossible to have very many pets. I feel like they should have uped it to at least 10 when we got pets.
- I think that 8 sims is more than fine, however I don't think 8 is a good limit when also factoring in pets.
- Never an issue for me.
- I regularly wish there were more than 8 slots. I love playing with big families, and when aging is set to normal it makes it hard to have more than 6 kids without aging them up. I really wish they would increase the family size to 10 or 12 especially bc of pets now.

I'm fine with the current limit, but since pets aren't playable/controllable I wish they didn't count against the 8 Sims limit -- maybe allow up to 4 pets above and beyond the 8 playable Sims. My usual limit is about 4-5 Sims.
Yeah, I like having bigger families, so it's part of the reason my sims almost never have pets. And it's 100% the reason my pets never have kittens/puppies. I love having pet babies, but they take up too much space in the household.- I feel most comfortable if my household has a maximum of 4 sims and pets. Usually 2 and 2 works best. I only voted for the current limit for everyone else that does family play.
- 8 is just not enough especially since the unplayable cats and dogs take a slot I'd prefer it be upped to 10 or 12 cant imagine if they add horses later and they also take a spot.
- The current limit works for me pretty well. If there were any more Sims I would probably go crazy trying to keep up with them all!
- Even if I chose fine as it is, increasing the family size should be up to the user. I just find it a little more difficult to control an family size over 8 Sims.
- I wish we could increase it, but, I understand there has to be a limit somewhere.
