How do you get a neglected child back?
my child on the sims 4 just kept playing the gaming rig while she was starving and had very low hygiene, I tried making her go get food but the gaming rig wasn't done until she finnished so i cancelle...

The sims 4 has an incomplete social services system in the background of their game. I mean, sims can adopt children and pets. I imagine some of these NPCs are randomly generated, while others come from unplayed households where guardian aged sims died, and the children and pets were orphaned. I mean, a household can be created with only a teenager sim, but not children or pets.
Generally, if a child sim is neglected for any duration (typically because the player is unable to interrupt the action queue for their sim), they are taken away by social services. However, the player can't have their sim petition the social services department (if it actually exists) for visitation rights or custody. And assuming the game places the child in an unplayed NPC household, has anyone ever seen their child sim spawn in world with their new NPC family?
