If you mean TS2, then the only limits are imagination and mood, though adding unexpected roomies is a frequent trick. I have Simpe, so it's easy to toss in townies or teens my sim doesn't know. If you mean TS4, there aren't any unless you really like gardening or jungle exploring.. The only real game enliveners are the bugs & glitches.
