How do you Sit?

I play on my laptop and sit on my comfy couch :)

I don't play in one place. Sometimes at work, sometimes at home at my desk, sometimes on a couch with my laptop on a pillow.

I have an executive desk chair, with lumbar support, that I've found are much more comfortable then gaming chairs. I'm a fidgeter, by nature, so I move around a lot anyways. I sit, mostly, with my legs crossed - indian style - with the arms of my chair pushed up. Then I will stretch my legs out to my footstool under my desk. But, all my moving, my tush doesn't go numb and my back doesn't hurt, like it has in every other chair I've tried. My last chair, I couldn't sit for 5 minutes without my rump falling asleep and going numb and my back killing me.

Does that cause your laptop to overheat? I played before on mine but it overheated so I use a cooling pad now.

As for the question, I have an extra chair by me to quickly lie down when I’m not comfortable but I usually sit comfortable with tv on in the background

I used to play on my laptop literally in my bed and that was so comfortable.. but now I have a gaming computer (which btw runs the game so smoothly for having so many mods that there's just no going back) So now I'm sitting on a gaming chair, I usually have my legs up between me and the keyboard :') even on the desk sometimes. But I couldn't say this chair is uncomfortable because I never get cramped even if I'm on the pc all day.

I start off sitting like normal, but I only have a regular desk chair since my room's too small for a better one with support lol
Over time I end up sitting like a crosslegged or with my legs up on my secondary desk, usually the latter since I find it really comfortable to have my legs up anyway.
I usually sit crosslegged when my dog wants to sit on my lap, though.

I'm very short so normal desks are waaay too high for me. I have to crank my professional office chair up to the max. That used to be a big problem because then my legs would dangle and cut off circulation to them and my feet. However, last Christmas my Son got me an 'office ottoman.' It's an under desk footrest and I absolutely LOVE it! My desk is still too high and the depth isn't enough, I can't rest my arm on the desk so my mouse hand gets cold from my wrist laying on the edge. But at least my legs and feet are nice and comfy now. :)

I wish I could find a deeper, lower desk that didn't cost a fortune. They make height adjustable desks, but I can't afford to pay $500-1000 just for a desk. o.O Oh well, I'll live. A little discomfort is worth it to play Sims on my gaming desktop. When I had my toaster of a laptop, I would sit with it on the couch on a cooling pad with my mousepad/mouse on the armrest. Much more comfy, but believe me, I don't miss that old thing one iota!

BTW @Cement I usually have at least one cat on my lap and/or laying on the desk between my keyboard and the monitor while I'm on my computer. The one on my lap cuts off circulation sometimes and the other cat likes to sit up sometimes so then I have to peek around him to see my screen. But, man, they're just too sweet and special, I don't have the heart to push them down. I.just.can't.do.it! lol

I'm usually sitting in bed with tons of pillows and a warm dog. :)

I put my laptop on a slatted plastic shelf from a modular set to keep my laptop cool, and then put the little shelf on a pillow.

I usually play at my desk sitting on my cushy chair. It's kind of too wide for the kneehole, but it's well-padded and I have a pillow at my back.

I need a new desk chair but I dont wanna have to put one together so I usually play on the dining room table.
