I rarely use rewards. I use the Moodlet Solver when the game is bugged and gives a Sim a moodlet that Sim shouldn't be getting. I occasionally remove a fame quirk that doesn't suit a particular Sim. I also have modded versions of the reward traits, so sometimes my Sims get one as one of their three traits.
