I typically have a club for the sims I'm playing at the moment, where the activities will change depending on what skills my sims are doing. I can have club gatherings last for sim weeks, if not interrupted by traveling.
There are only a couple of premade clubs I'll join, one is Powerhouse, the other is Upper Crust. The rest are completely useless to me.
