I would assume you could enable this cheat when you first arrive too. Then you could build a new set, place some markers, and let your sim actually "act" out their job for the day in the setting you created.
That would probably break everything. They said the set resets to whatever job your sim is there to do once you leave. If the set doesn’t match the job it will probably lead to some problems.
