How has your sulani vacation been?

Have been living there since release and it has been great! Currently working on building my own little beach-house and trying to find mermadic kelp out in the world. Want to live here for some time more but after that I might turn it into a destination world, very happy that we can switch it back and forth depending on our needs with mods.

I'ts been great! I'm extending my stay with a new save, starting with a mermaid this time :)

It's adorable to see the toddlers playing in the ocean and building sand castles. The island itself is so pretty!

I would love to have that mod, but I am swearing off mods until The Sims 5 is announced.
Whenever that happens... if ever. :p This game patches so often It would drive me nuts managing them considering the amount of mods I would probably have. :) I don't mind waiting since I will be giving the game new life near the end with mods.

For now I am using a retail lot as a vacation home and I have a park/beach with camping grounds for my sims from other worlds to visit for the odd weekend or two. My current sim is living in a vacation home that he spends a week in Sulani before returning to San Myshuno.
I just had the most fun time with him spending time with a mermaid (unknown to himself and others). They started out on a group outing to clean up Sulani and after it was over it was just the two of them.








His week is nearly up, so I had him offer her a key to his apartment so she can visit and he can max out their friendship in San Myshuno.

I took the mod out and I still enjoy visiting the beach.
Strange thing happened tho.
I invited all of my sims friends to come along yet they all disappeared when they entered the lot.

I can't actually play until I get my world set up so hopefully I'll have that done soon. My sim did join the conservation career and although she'll still live in Brindleton Bay I'm thinking about buying a retail lot so she can use it as a vacation home.

My Sim is living in Sulani, I am loving it. She has a house on the ocean, it is a breathtaking view to wake up to. It reminds me of the beautiful vista moodlet we had in Sims 3. I love her being able to step outside and jump in the ocean for a swim right from her back door. I love the slatted windows and open windows, I have seen homes in Hawaii on shows on the Travel Channel, they were all opened up like that, letting the breeze in. It looks like it would be heaven.
