How is Island Living for you so far?

I like it so far. The world is so freaking gorgeous! I haven’t set up any stories just yet, I’ve been playing around with the new activities and jobs. I did notice the ocean is different depending on where you go, and the lava rocks that shoot of the volcano contains stuff. I got a fossil.

Bugs are always a problem. I just hope they get fixed soon. Dine out is still loaded with bugs, and it’s really upsetting.

Are you talking different depths? Marine life? Tempature?

I'm really liking it so far. Only two complaints I have are the overabundance of conch shells and the fact that Makoa Kealoha (looks like he might be the dude from the trailer) is already married when the game starts :'( lol

I love it so far. I do have a few grips about actions mermaids can/cannot do because they are mermaids when it comes to them being in the Conservationist career since it limits them. I don't know if it's a bug or not, since it prevents them from fully doing the most to succeed and climb the career ladder.

I'm so used to all the other worlds where it usually rains or snows, depending on the temperature, every few days or so that I thought there was something wrong until it finally started to rain and rained for a few days during winter (started the game in summer and had no precipitation until a couple days into winter).

I do wish that there were notifications that would pop up when there are events occurring around Sulani, especially if they're happening in a different neighborhood than the one your Sim(s) is in.

I'm loving the EP to pieces, but I feel I have only dipped into it so far. I fool around, let my sims race each other swimming and on the aqua jets, have them bond as a family and do vacationing stuff. Since I didn't watch any videos (except for the premade introduction one) there's lots of little things to discover. But I feel everyone else has already explored the pack much more in-depth than me.

I noticed some clipping with the aqua jets and boats, especially in pools. The game also deleted my pre-placed aqua jets from a public pool lot, but I could replace them easily. Another problem is that after using a public aqua jet in Sulani, the game thinks my sim owns it. Same with a sailboat and another sim. That shouldn't happen.

Went on a building frenzy and so far have managed to complete 10 lots in 18hrs (and I stopped due to headaches and slept during that time). 4 to go, hopefully I get the restaurant done tomorrow.
