I have been playing this version of the game for about a year and did not realize that ghosts are playable until this thread! How did I not know this? I see them in the game, but have never tried to play them and don't try to interact with them. If I see them, it's usually when my sim is visiting a pub and there is an event. Or the ruins where there are parties. But I don't try to interact with them as I am usually at those places with the sim I am playing and there is a purpose in mind, so I just have my sim go there own way. And I just won Paranormal stuff on X the other day, and discovered the ghost Simgirl1010 pictured in her post. But beyond that, I didn't even realize you could talk to them. Ok, I have some exploring to do!
And new changes to the ghosts are coming up?

Yes the upcoming Life & Death EP will give ghosts a skill tree and it seems it will also be easier to add them to your household when they die and turn into a ghost. They will also get a bucket list and get an option to reincarnate 😄
