It's definitely skirting an edge and I hate to say oh, it's not that big a deal in this case because it just gives license to go further- like making drinks with no animation, just a bartender setting them on the bar. EA is going to probably test the limits of what they can get away with during this cycle. I think so much time and money was wasted the first three- three and a half years of creation that they have no choice BUT that reality also provides them a good excuse to try and maximize development resources to sales results as a test for future releases. How little can they expend to income return. Typical corporate behavior but they should be careful and not destroy the series while doing it.
