My prediction is that The Sims 4 will after Cats & Dogs have at least three more expansion packs, with the last one being released in 2020. The Sims 5 would be announced in 2020 as the "20th anniversary gift" and be released around late summer in 2021. So in January 2021 The Sims 4 would have 7 expansion packs (just like the first The Sims game) and maybe around 9-10 game packs.
