How many more years of TS4?

I would say at the *least* until 2020. From the off Sims 4 was touted as "Live" meaning they would update as they go along. I think that by favouring a cartoon art style, alongside a snail pace approach with releasing EPs suggests that the Sims 4 era will be longer than Sims 2 and 3.
I think that's a good thing though for both us and Maxis. This is our 4th time being sold Pets, *when* they get round to doing Seasons it will be their 3rd time selling it. Although Seaons/Pets are pretty much essential. It must be difficult trying to market things that have already been established so heavily in previous iterations of the Sims...and to the fans it can have an aspect of "been there" and "seen that".
Plus....*both* Sims 3 and Sims 4 base games have received their fair share of criticisms on release for certain game aspects being "missing." One of those reasons being that they haven't been a massive leap from their previous iterations like Sims 2 was from Sims 1, if there is to be a Sims 5 I would like it to completely blow Sims 2, 3 and 4 out of the water, making it difficult for us to compare and contrast the previous versions.
