Crashed aircraft to be exact, the plane crash landed as the direct result of . Back on topic, though. The world has around 17 residential lots split into two neighborhoods (the Plaza and the Shady Acres). The Plaza is the main town and also consists of a bar and library, both of which can't be changed to a residential lot due to story importance (you can edit their design, though). The Shady Acres on the other hand is located next to a Canyon and is pretty much where all the rich folks live (there are several manors and mansions there when you first arrive in Strangerville).
