How many screenshots do you have in your folder?

3603 screenshots...at 2.38GB. I'm gonna have to start organizing my screenshots...

Well I dont reaIIy take screenshots bahaha I feel having screenshots in the screenshot tray lags my game. So if I am to take any videos or screenshots I make sure to put them in a new folder.

I have tens of thousands. I've blogged my one and only save since the release. I remove the pics from the folder daily. It's been a lot of work.

Zero. Apparently they affect performance so I run a script to move them to another folder every time I launch the game.

not sure, when it starts getting a little too full for me to comfortably navigate, i change its name and start a new one. i have 3 screenshot folders now

I used to think about it like this too but it's not that hard. Every new generation is a new single sim you have all the different opportunities with. It is no different than starting over with a new save/sim. I just do it within a legacy. I love it though. It enriches the single sims so much in every generation. @QueenofMyshuno

I move mine out of the the folder frequently.. at least every week or two of game play depending on if I'm going crazy taking pictures. Also do it if I'm using and updating mods, cause I'm in there anyway.

Oh. Hm. Yeah. Most of my gameplay consists of screenshotting. Uh, let's see....

8906 files across 29 folders.

Each of the folder is just for one specific month, so I can keep it chronological. Then I also have year folders, where these month folders go into. Look, I could even tell you how much I played TS4 each year from this.

2014: does not even have a folder, I still played TS3 back then! TS4 was clearly not very good yet, so I didn't own it.
2015: 92
2016: 114
2017: 3832... yeah, see, this is when I actually started playing. I'm gonna blame the vampires. I love my vampires.
2018: 4667 screenshots.

As for 2019, we're barely into January, but I've played twice so far this month and I'm already up to 201 screenshots. So that's about 100 screenies in average per session; give or take? It really depends on how long I play as well. And how much I get into it.

So uh. Yes. I love taking screenshots, it's literally what I do most of the time and it's definitely a habit I carried over from TS3, where I took... 9465 screenshots in. And I still come back to it sometimes. Yes, that number may still grow.

No matter which game I get into, I will absolutely use the heck out of the quick screenshot option. I love looking back at that stuff. And watching me play a sims game on stream or irl would get pretty annoying, as I will pause the game OFTEN just to get a good camera angle for certain situations. It also helps me remember what happened in the game? Call me a gameplay photographer, I guess.

And no, it does not really harm my game performance at all, as far as I can tell.

So same lol I take a lot of extra pics with the UI or something to explain what exactly is going on or why I took regular pics. I used to write down stuff but nowadays I just take screenprints so when I use the actual pics on my blog I have the extra ones help me write down in words what was happening. I used to heavily edit my pics in 2014 too, nowayds I crop and resize. It takes forever to upload pics and update the blog though cause of sorting and editing pics even if it's just the two things.
