How many simdays from start to graduation?
I'm planning my routine, but not having the game yet. My understanding is that a sim needs to take 12 classes/subjects, and that it's very hard keeping up with 4 classes per term. So, perhaps 5 terms ...

If they fail they take it again, and are on probation. My sim failed and he ended up getting one the classes he failed the next semester, but he got a notice saying if he doesn’t do well he’ll be kicked out of uni(don’t remember exactly what it said) but he failed and couldn’t enroll for 5 days.
As for the terms, you can live with roommates who are on different terms.
