How many sims can you handle at once in a household?

I have noticed recently when playin I can maybe only handle 3 or 4 at a time. I have tried to play a full household and found it too chaotic trying to keep up with everyone's needs. I love big familie...

Actually 4 is really stretching it. There was a baby boom in my games awhile back, everyone who got preggers had multiples, which led to me pulling my hair out on various occasions...especially the household with 2 adults and triplets! Then there was the household with 2 adults and 2 sets of twins. I almost gave up on family rotations, but I deleted the families with over 4 in the house. I just can't cope, lol. :#
