So you all that play the Sims 4 with 7-8 sims - what do you do when you decide to travel with one of the Sims somewhere - like on a date or go to a festival or night out? As the minute I go along with one sim somewhere - not a single sim left in the house will keep doing any of the things I left them doing - and to me that makes big families and households rather useless. Home work doesn't get done, sims do not take their baths, go to bed even if they are in the red - absolutely nothing gets done, they don't even eat. I am a player that loves to go places with my sims and do not feel like bringing everyone. I expect the ones at home to finish what I assigned them as I am off with the one sim somewhere getting their life and future on track. But not once do sims at home do what they were left to do, never mind care for their selves.
Maybe if I was a player that never left the home lot is the only way that would be possible. That is not the way I play. My sims like doing things and I like going with them - as in real life I can't - I am the one always left home. So I live vicariously through my sims - but unfortunately I cannot have big families and live through selected sims too.
