So, I'm saying "part 2" because I remember asking this question at least two years ago when not a single sim would die unless it was because I intentionally killed them. Now it seems as though sims...

Have you set the Neighborhood Stories to protect your favorite families? You can also set it for all of the Sims, but it takes time. I've lost Dirk Dreamer; Thorne Bailey; and Erik's mother-in-law, Carina (she was 44 days into her Elderhood); then three days later, Erik's father passed. Clicking on his ghostly appearance in Erik's tree, it states he died of old age. But, yet, on Wednesday (in the game) I could clearly see him as an Adult. I think he succumbed to high blood pressure. I had Private Practice installed at that time. I thought I made him immune, but maybe not. Wouldn't be the first time I forgot something essential. :open_mouth: I was no longer playing his household. My bad. I let it stand, though. These things happen.
So, in this game save there has been at least six deaths, maybe seven. Erik lost two more of his Obsessed Fans to freezing. This has become a trend for him. :open_mouth: I need to take a moment to reset the NS to prevent the abundance of deaths. I don't count the ones I'm notified, since my Sims don't know them.
