- CandiGir16 years agoNew ScoutI like the idea of playing a plantsim, but going about it without cheats hasn't worked for me. By the time I have played a human Sim long enough to get them up to Gardening level 10, I've already developed that person's personality and they've started living their life. Switching to a different species hasn't yet worked out at that point for me. Just didn't make a lot of sense in my story. Plus, what's the benefit at that point? I'm already maxed out and there's nothing to gain. So whether you're being realistic or playing meta, the way it works in game is clunky.
Soon, I might try cheating and creating a plantsim from the start, then playing out their love of gardening and all things that grow. But, like many others have suggested, I think I'll also be adding some cc to the mix. Just so I can stand looking at them. "CandiGir1;c-17263645" wrote:

Once you have the tree that you can get at lvl 10 gardening i believe other sims can use it too! Not just lvl 10 gardeners. At very least they can eat the fruit and become plants if that helps :)- ck2136 years agoLegendThere isn't much to them compared to plant sims in TS2 and TS3.
I'm not going to bother with them unless they are overhauled. - Didn't play them outside of the challenge. They were good in Sims 2 - but no interest in Sims 4.
- I played them once when they first came in the event
- Honestly, I completely forgot that they exist in the game until I saw this poll... Now I want to, haha
- SEREFRAS6 years agoLegendThey need to become a regular lifestate not temporary. Also, the green hairstyles should be for all the hairstyles. And have more plant powers.
- Lazzial6 years agoSeasoned AcePlant people. Just weird.
- Smellincoffee6 years agoSeasoned AceI've never tried them. I'd play a couple in The Sims 2, but the novelty always wore off really quickly.
- I like the difficulty to become a plantsim. Maxing the gardening skill and collecting the beans.
But it's a lot work for a sim that's just green and does nothing unique. And its temporary.
They're really disappointing and need to be further developed.
