How to create a neutered/spayed pet?

I know you can visit vet for that, but for some reason neutering in a clinic doesn't work for me. Anyways I was going to create a new pet in CAS and make it sterile in a first place, wanting those hearts never to show up. I see an options in three dots, saying: "natural" and "fixed". I don't quite understand this. Do these mean what I think they do?

    I believe "fixed" is neutered, and "natural" is not. "Fixed" is another term for spayed or neutered.

    Thank you. But it doesn't seem to work. I have a "fixed" cat and still she meows and have hearts... :/

    That is a glitch. It has been there for a long time...

    If you want to make extra sure, send your sim to the vet and have them unfix and then fix the pet again.
