Oh, I absolutely agree that the amount of content matters. I just think that the amount of content is measured not just by the number of features, but by how deep those features are. I'm also always happy to have more items/features/gameplay; I can certainly think of other things I'd have liked to have in this pack, and we should definitely keep advocating for them to add more to the packs. But realistically, having played through several (but not all) features of the pack already, I can just tell you that the depth of the content has at least been sufficient to keep me more entertained with the game than I've been in a very long time. That doesn't mean I won't keep pointing out things I think they could have done better.

TL; dr: It's absolutely fair to suggest that some people might want to wait until the pack goes on sale. I'm just sharing my personal experience that I have zero regrets or buyer's remorse for paying full price for this pack... and that's not always the case for me, either with this game or others.

Another UPDATE: Events have been fixed, I was able to plan a wedding. Yay. And the Groom-to-be was able to invite his intended Bride out on a date on Love Day. They had an Epic date, I'm very happy to say. The wedding is set for the following Thursday. Still, loving this EP.

Game keeps generating thousands of empty Townie households, bloating the save to the point where load times are prohibitive.

So sorry for you guys who experience this bug. I have played misc households in HoB for about 10 simdays before learning about this. My save is from 2014, so I was very nervous checking my households for endless empty households. I could not find any, so - although I realize a bug might occur later, I wonder if I looked the right place. I manage households I looked under Other and chose Unplayed and Not-in-world. Everything looked normal, at least the list was not longer than I expected. That's where I would have seen them, right?

I also checked the size of my saves, as I read some had them doubled. My saves are about 135 MB, prior to CoL install they were about 125 MB, so I think the jump of 10 MB seems quite acceptable.

For what it's worth, I have tons of CC but hardly any mods interfering with the game. UI Cheat is my biggest mod, the others are small and quite limited. I don't use MCCC.
