I can't get into EA

When I try to start my game, a window comes up, error on our end failed to launch your game. Try again later. I have gotten that message for the past 4-5 hours now. I have tried everything, from rebooting to pulling my mods folder...nothing works. It worked perfectly last night. :s
Any suggestions?

    Try restarting your computer.
Same kind of thing happened to me. When I restarted it, it downloaded the update, and then worked afterwards.
  • A similar thing happened to me, not as much, but the game wouldn't start. Once I updated the game, it worked.

Gosh I am not going to be of any help, because I literally played my game not even 10 minutes ago, I exited the game to quickly help my daughter set up her laptop in her room and when I tried to load my game again from then on I am getting this ....

I will try a few things and let you know if any of it works for me.

Ok I got mine to work. This is what I tried and it did not work

Sign out and back in to the EA app
    Restart my laptop
    Shutdown and restart my laptop

Then I restarted the app as in the screenshot below and that worked for me :)

My game is loaded now ;) Hope this will work for you guys too <3
  • Theres a helper thread for the EA app that runs in the background. It goes loopy with annoying regularity and is probably what's causing your problem. Which is why rebooting helps, you can also kill it with Task Manager as well, just look for anything that says "EA".

Origin also has one, but you can disable it in settings, as far as I can tell you can't do that in the EA App.

That's what I do. Just go to Task Manager and End the line that says EA Background. I do this to play offline as well. End task then log in again.
  • I have trouble with the EA app on the backside. After I shut down my game and go to exit the App, suddenly the App is non-responsive. I just have to keep trying to click those lines up in the left corner until the menu drops down and I can hit exit. But it's been doing this consistently now.
  • Have you tried clearing the cache. three bars at the top, help, app recovery? It's a pain in the butt. I have to do this every time. Just to play.

Hi, and thanks for all the great ideas. I have rebooted my computer, then tried to start app but it didn't work. I always delete my caches in the file folders before I start the game and if I have downloaded any mods. I will try the task manager route, hopefully that will work. If not, I will uninstall and reinstall the EA app. Origin updated every once in a while, I wonder if EA app has...maybe they need to do something.

I will try above methods and check back with you guys. Thanks for all the responses. <3
