I don't get the hype about...

I don't like it. I think it looks...unclean? Not sure how to describe it.
The only hair I like from this pack is the curly hair (on guys).

I don't like most of the CAS. I love the combat boots and the heels though.

*It hit me. Aileen Wuornos! That's who this style reminds me of.

I don’t personally care for it, but slicked-back, ‘wet’ type hairstyles are somewhat popular amongst celebrities/people into high fashion, so it does fit with the pack imo.

I don't really care about a fashion look. It's evil villain hair to me because I need more of those.

The hype is about the build mode stuff and the updated photography options.

It's funny that in a pack made in collaboration with a clothing brand the thing people are less hyped about is CAS items.

I don't like that hairstyle either. I could use it on fashion photos, though (or with swimsuit like OP said). Also I think it suits better on men, especially male vampires.

I think it's very flattering on the Sim in the trailer. :smiley:

The hairstyle looks to me like that "default" runway one.
Designers either use creative hairstyles or just plain slicked-back ones to emphasize focus on the clothing.
Anyway I do quite like some of the CAS items but now that I've actualy seen the reviews, I agree with how ridiculously little fashion there is in this Fashion pack :/

Since I wasn't very interested in this clothing line in the first place, I don't feel at all upset there isn't more 'high fashion' included in the pack. If there had been more clothing options I don't think I'd be considering purchasing this stuff pack at all. That multi-colored set, that looks as if it came straight out of a horror movie, is just laughable. I was quite relieved to hear these fashionable outfits are not tagged for random, which means we probably won't be seeing every townie and NPC strutting around in it. Thank you, gurus! I am more interested in the additions made to the photography skill, the freelance career and all the fun new poses. And the fact the tripod and camera can be be in a Sim's inventory....well, that is going to open up a whole new angle to taking family photos, landscape photos, wedding photos, and I am very excited about it. The next few days will let us know if there are any new bugs to deal with. I am very grateful for the fixes we got in the patch which has made me more receptive to the possibility of purchasing the new pack. As far as this being a collaboration between EA and Moschino? If this becomes a thing with other corporations willing to pay for new content creation, I am all for it. Given what is included in this stuff pack when compared to the past stuff packs, this one is clearly the best one I have seen so far. Aside from the small number of CAS assets in it, it has a lot to offer I know will add a lot to the game and my style of gameplay. And I don't really care for the new hairstyles, either. I like the new shoes, though. :)
