That is not correct. The load game option is for recovery. It will take you back in time and you will lose some game progress. It is based on the assumption that something went wrong with your save and you need to load an earlier version. It does not solve the issue.
The game use to open into the neighborhood that you last played with the green icon showing which house you were last in. You could then decide to go into that house or choose another. Now the game automatically loads you into the last house you were in. So if you want to go to another house you have to wait for the unwanted one to load, and then exit. I guess my only option is to go on twitter and complain.
Well, that isn't how it works for me. I use it all the time as I am a rotational player. It does give me a list of saves, but I only have one. It always takes me to the map of the world I last played.
Btw, I just went and checked and the time on the save, my only save, is the time I last saved the game when I played last night. So I'm not losing any time. Now I do always save twice. I save the game, then click save and exit. Don't know if that explains the difference.
I will try the save option twice! Thank you, maybe that will work. I always save in the household and then just exit to main menu and quit. I will try your way.
