I am sorry OP that this has offended and/or bothered you. I would suggest simply not use it in your game. While I can be somewhat sympathetic to those who were victims of child abuse and were "shoved" by an adult ... where do you draw the line.
Some people were upset with the LGBTIQA patch. They didn't want that in their games. Too bad, others did. Again, if you didn't want LGBTIQA and the ability to use CAS to its full potential ... then don't use it.
The same can be said for those adults who divorced due to a spouse cheating. It could be upsetting to some folks to have their digital counterparts get cheated on.
I don't want to play the race card ... but I am quite sure that there are some sim players that don't want black, asian or pick any other minority race in their game. If they don't ... thats fine, its their game.
In the end, I am quite sure that given the 7.6 billion people in the world ... there is quite a lot in the game as it is that could be offensive to someone, somewhere at sometime. Should all of it be removed then? Someone got an old atari with Pong around?
