I have 2-3 butlers instead of 1? Never had this issue before

I thought something had gone wrong with the Butlers. My Sims' family really liked the first Butler the agency sent over. She was there most of the time. Then one day, she just disappeared from the home. I was startled when she showed up at one of those meet a celebrity events thrown by Orchid-A-Go-Go. She was clearly a fan of my Rock Star, whom she worked for. Her replacement, however, even the Toddler noticed was evil.

I learned several game saves ago (I've restarted this family a lot) that the Butler gets days off. So that the family isn't impacted by this another Butler takes their place, temporarily. The only time I ever had a third Butler was when the first two died in the process of trying to fix the very tall rock climbing machine in the backyard that shorted out during the rain storm. It took me a bit before I realized the first one had deceased.

I think you may be in the middle of a glitch situation. You could either try a game repair and see if that fixes the situation, or try firing the Butler and then call the agency for a Butler and see if either does it. Other than that, I'm clueless.

Butlers are broken! them leaving is not as feature its a bug!

Thanks! I dismissed the butler and then hired another but then that one wouldn't let me assign the bed/butler options (as if the butler wasn't in the house). Might have to try repairing and hiring/dismissing service a few times and see what happens!
