I have a question about Day of the Dead

There are only two ways to get sugar skulls now past the challenge:

1- Find a tombstone and find the option to give a sugar skull offering; that will generate a walking NPC in the neighborhood in Day of the Dead attire, and talking with that sim will give you an interaction to ask for a sugar skull. You may have get their relationship up a bit to see it.

2- Be lucky enough to find one for sale at the jungle market in Selvadorada if you have Jungle Adventure; if you max your culture skill, I believe you can buy one directly from their secret wares.

As for unlocking the case to display them, I have no idea to do that without cheating.

@paradiseplanet Unlocking the case isn't a problem, I use the MCCC mod and it has all that stuff unlocked. Thank you for this information.
I'm working on a Fall Calendar in the game and was trying to figure out how to add this day to the calendar as well. I looked up the information and learned that this holiday lasts for a few days. So the Friday before Thanksgiving I added in Halloween, and a couple days later I'm going to put in the Day of the Dead.

I haven't added this holiday (yet) but I think I'm gonna now! since my cemeteries are filling up with generations past, I think it'll be nice to have my sims remember them once a year. as for a mod that might help, I haven't seen one yet for sugar skulls/day of the dead specifically.

I wonder why they only did the day of the dead challenge once. It would be cool if it happen every year around Halloween.

I really wished that they would have added this as an option in the holiday part of the game.
