I love Neighborhood Stories. Such a funny feature!

Nope, nope and more nope! NS is turned off in my game - if I want things to happen then I make them happen. It freaks me out to see sims doing stuff when I've not had a hand in it.

At first, I enjoyed it, too. But then many of the celebrities, who lived near my young Global Superstar, Rock Star, were being killed off, little at a time. Del Sol Valley, and in particular, the Starlight Accolades Show, were becoming ghost towns.  The deaths, however, were hilarious. Bowl of cereal bursting into flames . . . silly stuff. So Simish of them. LOL

I have had it turned off for the same reason another listed above...the horse and children adoptions happen all the time! The new update also borked my main save, so I have ditched them all and began 3 new ones. 1 has a few families downloaded from the gallery, 2 has only 1 sim I downloaded from my part of the gallery, so it must be a sim I created or saved for a reason but have never played before (so far) and 3 has only Sim me in it other than the Sims the game threw in. I think, after reading this thread, I will turn it on for save 2 and see what happens.
