If The Sims is only going to be a mobile game in the future then I am gone

I have heard the rumours and so far I am feeling anxious. I have been waiting for a while to hear that maybe, over the next two years there might be a new game that would be interesting enough for me ...

Played The Sims Mobile for maybe three days straight when it was first released, then promptly lost interest. It just doesn't do it for me, and I'm really not into micro-transactions. I'd rather just pay for the game.

If they somehow paired it with The Sims 4 –a companion app of sorts, I'd be into it. Perhaps as a way to work on your sims' skills and/or relationships while you're away from your PC.
