I think I speak for most of us when I say it's not about whether or not Sims Mobile players are "real" Simmers or not. Although I have seen a few comments that say garbage like "people who play mobile games aren't REAL gamers" (mostly on YouTube), most people here believe that Simmers of all variations are welcome here.
The issue is about the limitations of mobile games. They need to be relatively basic, and they use up your phone's battery and storage, both of which are far more limited than a computer's or a console's. Many of them--including the Sims Mobile, apparently--need a "cooldown" time to keep the player from progressing too far (either that, or pay real cash to speed things up). They're also awkward, and using your fingers or a stylus for everything can be uncomfortable. Microtransactions are almost always a rip-off in my experience. They're filled with annoying and/or creepy ads. And back to my first point--even the best of the best mobile games still have a great deal of limitations simply because they are mobile games.
Those of us who are used to and love the PC and/or console versions want that choice. We want a huge, open world where we can explore and customize. We want to spend hours on this game without any interruptions or obnoxious ads. We want to get what we pay for.
