Second would be Del Sol Valley, to me the most illogical world in the entire game so far. The world itself is too small for what it represents, whereas the lots in Mirage Park are weirdly oversized considering that it's supposed to be the "normal" neighbourhood for less rich people, and there's little to do in the neighbourhoods in general with too many fake houses and streets that sims can't even walk on. Oh, and the premade houses are arguably the ugliest we've had in any pack so far, but that at least can be changed, thankfully.
Magnolia Promenade was designed with the retail aspect of GTW in mind. Where else were people going to put stores, especially at that point we only had 3 worlds? Well, I guess we had Newcrest where you could add some shops.
As I said in that same post, they could have been in the alien world, too. Maybe a premade shop for exclusive alien fashion and crystals and stuff that would be hard to come by otherwise. Would have been a great opportunity to not only combine the retail aspect with the aliens that came in the same pack (because the only thing loosely tying them together now is the scientist career), but also to give you an incentive to actually visit those shops, because you'd be able to buy things there that you can't just get from Build Mode or CAS.
Of course you're right about the limited space thing, and not everybody would
want the only premade stores to be in the alien world, if they had already filled all the base game worlds with other lots. But from today's perspective, I find Magnolia Promenade pretty useless as it is, and all my shops are in other worlds.
