I am so looking forward to this EP. While the faeries will be fun to play with, I'm mostly interested in the expanded gardening and apothecary skills, as well as the living outside options.
:squees:
I can hardley wait. 😊

Unfortunately I am not super excited by this world because it is continuing a trend that drives me nuts: Way too many base game trees.
The visual identity of an area relies heavily on its plant life- and Sims 4 re-uses way too much of it. This area is especially guilty. It's just all base game trees and one or two new bushes. And they're ALL THE SAME COLOR. You look at this world and then at Henford and can't really tell they're different areas because they use the same trees!
The giant trees try to change the vibe but it's just not enough. It's all one or two base game trees. All over the place. There's no contrast to the colors- except for a tree that sticks out because it's the only one that's reasonably a different color green.
It's just so bland. I hate this aesthetic. - sailorleontine2 months agoSeasoned Ace

i see a bit of the screenshots and by the look of it, i love the world
but i'll lean to this one more, the more magical vibes😍😍
i do get 1 side of the neighbourhood looks a lot like Henford-On-Bagley (not this one) but innisgreen looks more diverse like it has a bit of Glimmerbrook (this screenshot one) but more magical than Glimmerbrook
i can't tell with the other one but this isn't completely a copy of Henford-On-Bagley to me
i kind of felt that way with Oasis Springs, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade combined when it comes to Willow Creek (Oasis Springs is a desert world but has exact the same layout like Willow Creek, Newcrest is a empty version of Willow Creek and there is Magnolia Promenade which is much smaller with only 4 lots, kind of a business version of Willow Creek) glad they no longer made the exact same world after this, some worlds has a mix of others but thankfully not exactly alike
even innisgreen is a mix of 2 worlds for sure (can't tell with the other one)
i at somehow get where "this looks a lot like Henford-On-Bagley" comes from though but to me it's only 1 neighbourhood
despite all this: i'm excited about the pack😍😍
by so far i don't have any negativities to say👍

I’m hoping that the fact that one of the features of the pack is that your Sim can live completely in the world means that there is a lot of amenities in the neighborhoods. All my favorite neighborhoods have kids park, chess tables, food stalls, fishing, spots, etc.
Basically things to do beyond the lot. Probably why even though people hate it I actually like magnolia promenade and hate evergreen Harbor.
I'm hoping the world will be the only place for fairies as I'd find it immersion breaking to see them in a bar in Tomarang or getting some retail therapy in Nordhaven. I already don't like to see Spellcasters arrive at the Spice Festival by broom 😂. I mean, you don't see that every day! I also hope the gnomes don't play a large part in the pack. It's caused great hilarity amongst my friends who have laughed raucously at the giggling gnomes in the trailer... because I detest gnomes. The thought of me suddenly having more gnomes in my game, well they can barely contain themselves. It's a whole thing.
But, the world looks so pretty. I was envisioning a Sylvan Glade style world, it's one of my favourite camping spots. The way it's been marketed as well, with the trailer filmed with the miniatures is so clever and shows it's been made with love (and too many gnomes). I'm looking forward to the pack because it looks so different. I love forest worlds and nature themed gameplay 🍄.

I agree. I don't want to see fairies everywhere unless the are tiny pixies messing with your sim's appliances and gardens.
I always try to keep my occult sim's abilities on the down low.
Discretion is necessary to keep the general public calm.
