I really like what I’ve seen of the world. So far my only idea is to change the museum into either a rec center or a community center. I never visit any of the museums in the game.
That museum is definitely getting changed in my game as well! The only question is whether to make it a community space, a retail lot, or a small business lot. If the apothecary objects work well with the B&H sales tables, then it will likely be small business. This is a decent-sized world compared to some, but still not huge, so the more use I can get out of each lot, the better.
That fairy lounge in Everdew looks amazing, so I probably won't change much about the actual space, but I might make it a bar instead. And then the Sprucederry bar might get changed into a restaurant... maybe not entirely, but largely, vegetarian. Or maybe some sort of multifunction cafe or bakery (using the small business features to have events/other activities there, too). I could definitely see having a family that sells apothecary remedies, baked goods, regional dishes, and candy (along with maybe candles and other small crafted items). I haven't seen any new recipes in the early access videos yet, but I'm still hoping.
I'm thinking I might also evict (but not delete) the gnome guy as well, and turn his home into a vacation rental, but leave it heavily gnome-themed so that I'm sort of keeping the spirit of things. As I'm just evicting and not deleting him, in theory he should still show up at his market stall and around the world. That's what I usually prefer to do with the premade families, and for the most part it works pretty well.
I definitely need at least one vacation rental in Sprucederry as well. I'm torn between keeping that huge lot with the pond in the middle as residential, and using it for a rags to riches household, or changing it to a vacation rental campground. If I do the former, I might evict (but not delete) the Enchanted Lovers household and use their house as my vacation rental.
I figure I will also probably use the vacant lot with the pond in Everdew for rags to riches, but only for a fairy household. I really want to keep Everdew restricted to fairies, or maybe a few select friends from other occult households.
