I was wondering why all my babies had pasty white skin. I figured it was because most of my children are the offspring of my Goth siblings, and I used the unnatural white tones for them. So I figured maybe the game probably just gives the kids the skin color of either parent, and not a blend in between (because what is halfway between chocolate brown and unnatural white, like green or something?)

But I guess that wasn't the issue.
