I would love to see all of that back in the game but with the way things are now could they be avoiding the disgrace because of it may be bullying. I don't know but all of these things were part of the charm of the former sims games.
I hated a lot of that in Sims 3. My newly married couple went on a Honeymoon to Egypt in WA and got shamed by explorers and it took me literary weeks of real time to get them excused from the shaming of it all long after they were home from the honeymoon and starting there family, To me that was just plain rude and not necessary in the game when those were the only vacation spots in the game where my sim could take a honeymoon. That needs not to come to this game or at least you can't shame newly weds and they were not in public either. They were staying in a tent away from anyone else and trying to have a honeymoon.
I loved the Honeymoons in Sims 2 - but they went totally wrong in Sims 3 - which is a shame seeing I love Sims 3 - but Lord forbid your sim goes on a Honeymoon.
Yep sims can get arrested in Sims 4 - play the Police career - your sim can even arrest others.
I had no problems with Sims on Honeymoons in both of Sims 4 vacation worlds - no one shames them and every one is nice to them and treats them friendly.
I did not think of sims 3 as I was not able to play that well on a good computer. So I should amend it to read sims 2 and the original. The charm of these games are the goofy stuff that happens. I am really not a reality player I love more of the goofy stuff.
I loved Jim Carey in the game but hated Katy Perry. Loved the jokes and off color humor of the sims one and sims 2 the goofy stuff. But that's the way I play. Most of the sims in my former games were insane however it makes no difference in this game what trait you give them there is too much nice nice.
It's just that this game needs laughs and surprises which I find missing in this game. I guess we all play different.
