Is anyone else having trouble with the new ea app?

I didn't have to download anything either. I got the app yesterday and besides copying my Sims folder onto my desktop the installation went flawlessly (hope I'm not jinxing me) and Sims 4 showed up with everything intact and I haven't had any messages of things missing when going into my households and community lots. I didn't and don't have Sims 3 installed but was planning on doing so before getting the new app but forgot. I do hope I can install it. Well. It's a headache for later.
