Is Get Famous just being an actor?

Looking forward to the new content and gameplay, hopefully this pack is more than just being a famous actor/actress

It hasn't been confirmed if you have to be working a job to be famous, or you can gain fame in other ways.

It has, actually! Just not in any detail yet. But there's weeks of livestreams and blog posts and answers to questions to go :)

This is awesome! Such a relief for me at least. This way we can make famous singers, for example
  • Maybe they'll split off music things into a smaller pack, since it would mostly just be new objects that work with the gameplay we already have. Couldn't you see them releasing a Music Stuff pack right after this that's a drumset and guitar recolors for $10?

Oooo it makes me really happy that it’s skills too. I don’t typically do the painter and writer career. It’s usually a hobby for my sims. So that is really cool.

I personally loved this! Defintely will get my cook Sim, painter Sim, writer sim, and my comedian Sim ready for this pack.

I was disappointed earlier at not having any items for a modeling / fashion career, but hopefully that could be included in a future pack. *crosses fingers*

In the meantime, if the fame and reputation systems are any good, I can work on getting my Sims in non-acting careers famous using this pack.

Just because it's being sold as an EP doesn't mean it's going to have enough content to justify it. This is EA, after all.

Don't forget MFP was sold as a Stuff Pack but I'd say most of its content you'd expect to see in a free patch.

Actually, MFP is my favorite! I got my money's worth out of it when I saw the sheer joy on my child sim's face when she woke up and saw her new hamster. I played it until the hamster died, then couldn't bear to go on. I think I'll get my current sims a hedgehog soon though! Anyways, it has cool stuff, from 4 more pets to a new death! (I've never had the death though.) Some other stuff packs barely have anything. Hot tubs? Buffet tables? I'd take rodents over those any day!
